Data Deletion Policy

TasteMap allows you to discover, save, and share your favorite dining spots. If you no longer wish to use TasteMap, you have the right to easily delete your account and all associated personal data from our systems.

How to Delete Your Data

You have full control over your data. To request the deletion of your account and all associated information, please complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to your TasteMap account.
  2. Navigate to your Profile page from the dashboard menu.
  3. Scroll down to the Account Actions section.
  4. Click the Delete Account button and confirm your choice.

What Data is Deleted?

When you delete your account, the action is permanent. The following data will be immediately and permanently removed from our servers:

  • Personal profile information (name, avatar, and email)
  • Your Instagram linkage connection, including your Instagram Account ID
  • All your saved restaurants and bookmarks
  • All created lists and map boards
  • Your Supabase authentication record

Important Notice

This action cannot be undone. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. If you shared any boards publicly, those links will immediately become invalid.
